Most men call women weak for having coping mechanisms, we cry we talk,we shop,we go to church and we are made fun of for it. Men look down on and call us cry babies for finding coping statagies. While men call themselves strong and take pride in the fact that they are "hard" and don't cry. And because they don't release the pressure, the pipe burst and they off themselves. They have to stop running from meaningful communication. They will talk about sports, tv, games. Then when someone tries to talk to them about something deeper they play it off and change the subject.

I found your ministry back in September when I was beginning to spiral in my emotions. It wasn't until about October I really started to LISTEN to you. Once the new year hit I felt so overwhelmed and I felt like I had no-one, so I would come here and binge sermons until I felt better. It was such a freeing moment to listen & not feel alone. Listening from home makes me feel like I am not alone and I have family, friends, a community. I am married and have 4 children and one child is an extra special miracle gift from the Lord.. so I am not physically alone. I felt defeated and cried nonstop and develop a anxiety disorder. FINALLY, in March I really felt so free, so different. I had learned to love and not hate, I had learned forgiveness and that I am loved. I am still learning but I wanted to say thank you for everything but this sermon specifically. It's been almost a year since my beginning part of my transformation but this sermon touched me differently. It makes me appreciate and love my husband even more and makes me know that he has moments as well as all others. I am now beginning to walk beside him with his healing, not in front pulling him, not behind pushing him, but beside him holding his hand. I have learned how to really love him, admire all about him, how he moves, how he talks, how he looks at me and how he is in awe even with his children. I have learned to much more in just a few months of accepting God into my life fully and I will forever be appreciative. 20 years almost with him and 16 is marriage... I thank God for allowing me to finally really be open to know him.
